A caffe latte is an espresso-based chocolate drink .
Espresso is a saturated coffee, which can be served on its own ( called a guess of espresso ! ) or used as the base for some of your favorite chocolate drinks like a cappuccino and what we ’ ra make here, a caffe latte .
You might ’ ve guessed that espresso is made with an espresso machine. Don ’ t have one at home ? not to worry, I list some alternatives to brewing espresso like coffee. You can besides precisely use truly strong coffee .
It ’ randomness elementary to make this delicious frost caffe latte drink .

Iced Vanilla Hazelnut Latte Ingredients

  • ¼ cup (2 shots) espresso (I used Cafe Du Monde)
  • 1 tsp vanilla syrup
  • 1 tsp hazelnut syrup
  • 1 cup milk

Tips for Making Iced Vanilla Hazelnut Latte

I used Cafe du Monde Coffee and Chicory .
Use your espresso machine to pull two shots of espresso. But if you don ’ thyroxine have an espresso machine at home, you can still make this caffe latte .
Check out our steer to making espresso without an espresso machine. I used a moka pot, which is easy and fast to brew espresso-like coffee. The chocolate is concentrated, about like espresso .

Vanilla Syrup

I used Monin Vanilla Syrup .
If you don ’ t have vanilla syrup at home, you can make a childlike vanilla syrup easily. All you need is white boodle, urine and vanilla extract. here ’ s what to do :

  1. Measure equal amounts of sugar and water and place in a saucepan.
  2. Heat on medium heat and stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. Turn off heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Wait for the syrup to cool completely then pour into a mason jar.
  5. Use and store in the refrigerator.

You can do this with different flavors. For example, steep cinnamon sticks for cinnamon syrup, mint leaves for mint syrup or replace white sugar with brown carbohydrate for brown sugar syrup .

Hazelnut Syrup

I used Monin Hazelnut Syrup .
Like the vanilla syrup, you can attempt to make this at base by steeping crushed hazelnuts in the boodle and water system .

I used oat milk for a dairy free iced caffe latte .
Use your preferable milk or plant based milk alternate .

While I used regular water based ice rink cubes, consider using coffee internal-combustion engine cubes .
This is the way to avoid ever having watered down frost caffe latte. When the coffee cub melt, you barely get more coffee bean .
To make this, add coffee bean ( this can be leftover from a pot you had in the dawn ) into ice rink block trays. You can besides add syrups like the vanilla or hazelnut to flavor the cubes and for extra season when they melt in your ice caffe latte .
